We live in a Nice Portland neighborhood with some great neighbors, a beautiful fenced backyard drought-friendlygarden with a pergola and lots of privacy. The house is a clean 3 bedroom ranch with a semi-finished basement, A/C, laundry, dishwasher, and wood floors.
Our 10 year old Rat Terrier (Lucy) requires oral meds every day (really easy), and the other 2 yeard old Pom, just needs activity. He's a very happy guy. They like sleeping in their crates at night - in fact, all we have to do is get cookies and tell them it's time for bed, and off they go. Our one gray tabby is a lovely little 10 year old. Very low maintenance.
They generally like to get up around 5: AM. I can appreciate if that's a deal-breaker. :-)
We would like a responsible individual or couple to keep everything alive and well, and someone who will treat it as they would their own. If possible, someone who lives in the Portland are would be preferable. Someone who could come by and do a meet and greet with us and the "kids."
References would be very helpful.
