We live in the iconic Whitsundays region. Our beautiful rural home on 12 acres is 15 minutes from Airlie Beach. We have a very affectionate and healthy dog who loves walks, 3 horses (1 needs regular feeding), budgies, fish and some chooks.
The gardens are delightful and are regularly mowed by our friendly gardeners. There is a lovely rural vista, peace and quiet and an abundance of native wildlife to observe. We enjoy cooking and the kitchen is well set up.
Prospective house sitters would need to be mobile and active as we live on a small rise and ideally have some understanding of the requirements of rural living (tank and bore water, emergency generator etc). Depending on the season some watering of the gardens may be required.
The local community is friendly and there are lots of stunning places to explore.
