We live in a cute Craftsman house with a picket fence on a quiet street near Point Defiance Park in Tacoma. Need a quiet place to write, make art, play music, or just escape? We have a big deck, a great kitchen, and a grove of poplar trees that make the yard shady and cool. Close to waterfront paths, hiking trails, and beaches. We have a small Pom/Aussie mix named Rufus and an elderly cat. The cat needs heart medicine twice a day, mixed into his food. We need someone who can be very reliable about giving that to him. The dog is very attached to his humans and has only once been without us this long. So we need someone who is very empathetic, caring, and responsible to look after him. He needs walks twice a day and is otherwise very snuggly and likes playtime with his squeaky toy in the yard. He sleeps in his crate at night and has a dog door. Ideally we would have someone who works from home or retired and able to be with him most of the day. Someone local is required so that we can introduce you to Rufus ahead of our trip. Thanks!
