My husband and I are looking for someone to house and dog sit for 6 weeks while we and our daughter visit family in England. We have a charming three-bedroom house + garden in a quiet inner west suburb of Newcastle. We have one cairn terrier and one chook. My husband and I work in publishing so we have a house full of books. It's a ten-minute walk to Beaumont Street's cafes, shops, library, bookshops etc. Ten-minute walk to train station (2 hours 20 minutes to Sydney). We are on bus routes and bike tracks, the weekly farmer's market is a 5 minute walk. Ten-minute drive or 15-minute bus trip to world class and patrolled beaches. There would be a lawn to mow, a chook to feed every few days and a cairn terrier to be walked at least 20 minutes a day.
