I'm looking for someone to stay in my second-floor condo with my dog Abby during the Christmas holidays. Abby is a shelter baby -- half-size white lab mixed with whatever gave her amber eyes and huge ears! She loves to walk the nearby foothills trails and to be loved on. As I usually work from home, she's used to walks 3x day (one being at least 45 min long) plus a pee walk before bed.
I live in the North End foothills in a 2-BR condo (no maintenance) with granite counters, stainless appliances and a W/D. Lots of trees and local wildlife: a wild turkey who roams the neighborhood along with the resident deer family that travels over from nature preserve 10 minutes away. (No smoking or drugs on this campus.)
I am 10 minutes from the nature preserve with its network of foothills trails, a short walk from the neighborhood "village" with shops and eateries, the Boise Coop and local pho restaurant, and downtown Boise. Downtown Boise has an active nightlife and great restaurants, in addition to an art museum, symphony, ballet, theatre etc.
The Boise River runs through downtown through a series of parks, and the Greenbelt runs adjacent to the river for 20 miles in either direction. Because Boise usually doesn't have much snow, you can still walk and bike the Greenbelt during Dec. There is a local ski area and 2 more within 2.5 hours McCall and Sun Valley). Idaho Springs, an hour north, is a luxurious hot pool that also has private pools and wine service! There's a reason that Boise is such a great place to live:)
Please let me know if you are available and interested, and we'll talk. Thanks!
Cheryl
