My name is Bec & I live in Berkeley NSW. Berkeley is a 15 minute bus ride from Wollongong (about a 5 minute car trip). While it isn’t the nicest area in the Illawarra, where I am is ok. I’m a short walk from Lake Illawarra, & am close to shops & public transport. I will be going away for a week from the 30th of June until the 6th of July and then again from the 25th of July until the 31st of July. I am trying to find a sitter for my pets. I have 3 female dogs & 2 female cats. The dogs are all staffy crosses & are like Babushka dolls; they range in size from quite small to medium/largish. Two of them are under 18 months old & the third is 5 years old. The 5 year old staffy (Elly) is very obedient but has a tendency to jump & lick obsessively when she is excited. The 2 youngest (Elvira & Inara) are also quite obedient, but can be quite rambunctious, especially with each other. They are all extremely loving, affectionate girls. Inara is scarily intelligent, Elvira is scarily stupid & Elly is somewhere in between. These girls are very precious to me (they are my 'babies') so their care comes first & foremost. They have no special diets or requirements, but they do need to be walked every day (I do this by myself) & each of them has their little foibles (such as Inara’s penchant to chew up anything that’s left within her reach). I do understand that 2 separate weeks of house-sitting can be quite inconvenient, & would be willing to have somebody stay with me for the entire duration of the start of my first trip until the end of my second trip (from the 30th of June until the 31st of July I am a single 30-year-old woman living in a small 3 bedroom house by myself (with my 5 girls). I work full-time, like to keep to myself & am a bit of a neat-freak, but not insanely so. I have lived with all sorts of people; smokers, very messy people, couples, males, females, drinkers, etc so I am pretty easy-going. I would, however, prefer a female or a couple to sit for me if they are staying for the entire duration. If it is just for either of the 2 weeks that I am away, I am happy to have a male sitter. I would also prefer a sitter who has references &/or a police check. If you are at all interested or available to pet-sit for me, please contact me any time.
