We live in the Northern suburbs of Canberra, in a pleasant federation style brick home on a court yard landscaped block which requires minimal gardening care. All amenities are close by easily accessed by car or public transport ( bus service 1 min from our house ),local Woolworth 5 min walk away. The major mall is 10 mins away. A weekly domestic cleaner comes in on Friday mornings for 3 hours. A semi/retired or part time worker/couple who would be happy to care for our two very spoilt hairy girls, Grace the 4 year old English Mastiff is a big cuddle bear/sook, Bella the Bull Mastiff is a 6 years old walking stomach who would do anything for more food and the companion parrots, who are both hand raised,a 14y old male cockatiel called Rupert and Murphy a Sulphur Crested Cockatoo, both boys will need daily care which I am happy to explain/show.., nothing difficult just feed/fresh water,silly chat games with them etc..
Some outside watering of shrubs, pot plants, mail,bins etc is about all. Would suit a responsible decent person/couple who would like to take in the sights, visiting friends/relatives whilst we are away . Must be reliable and trustworthy, of good character, absolutely love dogs, they are indoor dogs only going out for their toilet times. Walked daily for 30 mins which they both enjoy. We love our animals and their care and needs are very important to us ( I think I'll fret more than the dogs ha!ha!). The hairy girls would love some company during the day.Daily visit check/feed/groom of one quiet pleasure riding horse . She is very people orientated, comes when called, easy to feed, just needs checking she is okay. If I can find a suitable horse care person where I agist "Kirri" then your involvement will not be required, however if you have knowledge in horse care you may like to manage her daily care as well. You would need to be available to stay a couple of days prior to to our departure to be shown the ropes. We would also leave a clearly written information file and naturally our mobile and address for contact You would need a car or rental of one as the horse agistment is a 10 min drive away.
