My husband and I are looking for someone to take care of our house and pets when we go to the UK/Europe in August this year. We will be away for 6 weeks and 6 days (from Thursday 14 August through until Wednesday 1 October).
We have a much loved slightly spoiled wire-haired terrier/Jack Russell cross called Tilly who would love someone to stay here and be her friend and give her lots of walks and cuddles. She is full of beans but very, very cute and very loving!
We alo have two turtles (Ike and Tina Turtle) who require a minimum amount of maintenance and feeding, as well as a budgie (Colonel Sanders) who needs even less looking after (just topping up of food and water bowls).
Apart from that, all that would be required of a housesitter is to put the rubbish in and out, bring in the mail, water the plants occasionally and generally just keep the house clean and tidy and secure.
We live in a comfortable 4 bed 2 bath Spanish style house in Redwood Park, in the north east of Adelaide. We are only a five-minute drive from three different shopping centres (Golden Grove, St Agnes and Tea Tree Plaza) and the Modbury bush interchange is at Tea Tree Plaza as well, making travel into the city quick and easy. We are also only five minutes from the edge of the city meaning the Adelaide Hills are right on our doorstep.
