I'm looking for non-smoking/vaping dog loving individuals or a couple. We have three dogs, all rescues. Medium to small. All are senior dogs but need no special treatments. Very low maintenance and stay in the fenced yard.
The house is located in Okeechobee, Fla . This is basically a dog sitting gig. You do not have to stay in the house all day. You can go sightseeing, fishing, hunting, flea-marketing, day trips, etc. There is a doggy door, so this is really pretty easy. You would be responsible for feeding and watering and pickup up the poop in the yard. Easy peasy.
We are 1.5 hours to the closest east coast beaches and 2 hours to the west coast.
If you fish, you are in the best spot on the Lake. We are two minutes from the Okeetantie and Scott Driver boat ramps into the Kissimmee River and a mere two minute boat ride to the mouth of the lake. If you don't have a boat, you can fish off the banks anywhere from 5 minutes to 25 minutes away.
We haven't used housecarers since 2012, but that was a great experience for all involved. We can now finally take a trip.
Okeechobee is a small country city. Make sure to google it to make sure it is a good fit for you. Our little spot is in a 55+ mobile home community of 26 residences, where everyone knows everyone. We are7 minutes from town where everything you need will be.
