We require a mature-age couple to housesit our 12 acre property at Glass House Mountains from 23 Mar to 10 May The house is a fully renovated Queenslander with pool, fruit trees and gardens. We have a mowing man so mowing is not required and watering of gardens is a sprinkler system that only requires a tap to be turned on and off. The house is very private and secluded and you need to be able to enjoy the peace and quiet and the birdlife. We have a border collie cross called Toby who loves a ball chase in the backyard and needs feeding once a day. Also he loves to be loved. Our daughter's dog Zorro (kelpie) may also be here but same care - ball, food and love. Our local shops at Beerwah have 3 supermarkets for grocery shopping and our local attractions are the mountains which are easily accessible from our place. We are only 25 mins from Calounra - the southern end of the Sunshine Coast beaches - and about the same to the delightful Blackall Range with its spectacular scenery and delightful villages such as Maleny and Montville. Our return date is not set in concrete so if you need to negotiate, let us know asap.
