We live in the small village of Wairau Valley, Marlborough. It is situated at the top of the South Island, NZ, 36km from Blenheim.
The nearest service facility is Renwick 25km away, it has Supermarket/ Pharmacy & Petrol facilities.
We farm lavender & host tourists with an onsite garden retail studio. But we are closed during winter months, but there is the slight possibility of people by appointment.
The winter is very cold with heavy frosts, but generally good sky blue days. The Wairau River is close for fisher people.
We are looking for folks who like the quiet life & are able to sit long term. We require a sitter for 5-6 months with two breaks of a week during that period.
June-November
We have only 1 cat that would need to be fed.
