We have a 2 storey house in a quiet street that has extensive views of the River Derwent and Mt Wellington. Although in a quiet street, with bush behind us, we are only 6 minutes to the city and close to all amenities, including the Clarence swimming pool, Rosny Golf club, tennis courts and walking tracks. Our home has 3 large bedrooms and a study ( with internet connection) and a big (but fairly low maintenance garden). We also have quite a productive vegetable garden. The house has solar panels and solar hot water. Heating is by reverse cycle heat pump and open fire (only used for cosy atmosphere). We have two elderly and very affectionate cats who are our main reason for requiring a housesitter. Our adult children live locally and are available to assist with any problems.
