CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR in Huddersfield
We live in a 200 year old cottage situated between the villages of Golcar and Milnsbridge, 3 miles from Huddersfield town centre. The house feels very private and quiet with trees all around and views down the Colne Valley. It is 2 minutes walk from the canal for nice walks and within driving distance of beautiful countryside. And 10 minutes by bus from the town centre. It is on the end of a block of 5 cottages.
We have 2 elderly but healthy cats – Vince and Mia. They spend most of their lives indoors sleeping, but they are fully house trained (no litter tray and they use the cat flap to get in and out).
There is a double bedroom, new bathroom with shower (but no bath), dining room, kitchen and living room. The house is centrally heated, there is a piano, sky plus, dvds, cds and books. There is a small office with internet. There is a parking space at the back of the house We would prefer to meet and/or chat with our new house carer beforehand but understand that this may be difficult.
