Looking for mature, non-smoking cat lover(s) to look after our 2 cats Jake and Elwood. They are 14 years old and need to be fed mornings and evenings. Elwood (grey tabby) is deaf and very vocal. Jake (black and tan tabby) is diabetic and requires insulin injections twice a day. They live in a 2 bedroom lowset western red cedar house on a 2 acre bush block 75Ks west of Brisbane and 50Ks east of Toowoomba in the Lockyer Valley. There is room for a caravan. The house is located in a quiet cul-de-sac, has digital TV, DVD player, a PC on the Internet and reverse cycle air conditioning throughout. The required tasks are to feed, cuddle and clean up after the cats, give Jake his insulin injections, collect the mail and water a few plants. We also have 4 chickens who should have enough food and water to last while we are away, and will need their eggs collected daily for you to eat. Woolworths shopping centre, University of Queensland Gatton Campus, medical centre and pub within 10 minutes drive. Toowoomba is 45 mins drive, Brisbane 1 hour.
