We seek a responsible couple to care for our two Shetland Sheepdogs, chickens and pet sheep on three acres in beautiful Matakana, 50 mins north of Auckland city.
Our wonderful little dogs require daily walks, lots of attention, and a little brushing. They are very sensitive lapdogs who require sensitive carers. They will melt your heart!
Our modern house has: open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area; four double bedrooms; two bathrooms; and a huge garden. All mod cons: flat screen TV, Sky, DVD, wireless internet, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. Situated on a hill, there are extensive views across the rolling countryside and out to sea. This is paradise in the summer with lots of peace and quiet.
Though we are only 8 mins drive from Matakana village and 18 mins from Warkworth and Omaha, a car is essential. There are half a dozen vineyards in the Matakana region and stunning beaches to choose from. There is also a 7-hour forest walking track just down our road taking you to Dome Valley.
Your presence is required from the afternoon of Weds 20th Feb, until the morning of Weds 27th Feb (7 nights total). Please drop us a line about yourselves and provide references.
