Dec, Jan, Feb. We are looking for a house and cat sitter from Dec 3rd to Feb 18. The move-in and move-out is flexible but those are the days we will be away. We've got a fabulous ocean view from our recently renovated heritage home in the historic South End of Nanaimo. We are offering our 1 bed/1 bath plus den suite. The bright space features fresh paint, laminate floors and 10ft ceilings in the master. There is a full bath and laundry area with front load washer /dryer and loads of storage. The den is equipped with an over-sized recliner and TV, the office area has a roll top desk and the bedroom has a king size bed and a 46 in flatscreen LCD HDTV . There is full cable package and ultra hi-speed wifi throughout the house and grounds. The kitchenette has fridge, stove, microwave, induction hotplate and all the small appliances. It opens out onto an ocean view private deck with BBQ and lower brick courtyard. The suite has laminate throughout and is easily maintained as there's central vac and a vac sweep in the kitchenette. The beautifully landscaped yard is fully fenced with private deck and patio areas to enjoy the ocean view. The yard boasts an organic garden with various fruit trees and veggies in raised beds. There's plenty of off street parking (RV friendly) , safe bike lockup and loads of secure storage. The property is ideally situated on a main bus route and walking distance to downtown’s Port Place Mall which has groceries, drug store, liquor store, post office ans medical center. Centrally located, we're close to, the scenic Seawall walkway, VIU, Aquatic Center, Petroglyph Park, Westwood Lake, Colliery Dam and Nanaimo River. There's plenty of off street parking. Its a non-smoking residence.
We have 3 well trained cats. They enjoy company so we're hoping you'll be around the better part of the time. They are indoor in the evenings and indoor/outdoor during the daytime. They come when you shake the Temptation treat bag so they are easy to manage.
