We'd originally posted this ad with an October 25th start date, based on our adoption agency's estimated travel date. We just got final confirmation of our travel date, December 3, so we're reposting it with a December 3rd start date. We've got confirmation that this is indeed when we'll be traveling, so here's the request:
We have a beautiful eco-friendly home, with a large indoor sun- room/greenhouse containing a hot tub. There are 3 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms.
We're close (within easy walking distance) to Old Town, two parks, Colorado State University, and the trailhead for the Poudre River - in short, a great location.
You'd be sharing this sweet home with 4 social, friendly cats - Sylvan, Sumu, Sweet Mama, and Blue.
We're looking for some thoughtful, non-smoking, cat-lovers to enjoy our home and care for our cats, our plants, and our property while we're away. We do want to note that our cats do need daily care.
We have added one additional request. We've found it too difficult to get a "feel" for a house-sitter and cat-sitter by phone, and would like to find folks we could meet in person, meaning either you'd live close enough to meet us in person, or you'd be visiting the area in advance and we could meet face- to-face then.
