We need someone to house-sit our executive, 5-level split home from March 28, 2010 to April 10, This coincides with the Calgary school board spring break.)
We have a large home on a quiet cul-de-sac in the SW community of Woodlands. The house has all amenities including high speed internet and HD digital cable TV, laundry, huge kitchen, etc. etc.
We have four pets: a small 4-year old terrier/chihuahua dog and three cats ranging in age from 3 years to 9 years. The dog needs to be let out at least once during the day or there will be an accident. We have neighbours who can do this if the house-sitter is unable, but ideally we are looking for someone who is home all the time.
This sitting will include collecting mail, general housekeeping like snow shoveling (let's hope there is none!), feeding and caring for the pets, walking the dog twice a day and watering plants.
Arrangement is a straight exchange - 2 weeks free rent for looking after the house and pets.
We have used this service before and it worked out great!
No small children, please. Other pets OK.
