We have a seven acre farm and house at Opossum Bay in Tasmania (40 kms south east of Hobart) and are looking for someone to house sit for two and a half months from mid August unitl the end of October. The house overlooks the River Derwent and there are two cats and four chooks to feed while we are away travelling. There is a house garden and veg garden that will require minimal maintenance. Opossum Bay has a well stocked local shop and lovely beach walks all around the South Arm peninsula. An easy 20 mins to half hour drive to supermarket and so on. This would suit a retired couple or someone who is travelling around Tasmania at the moment. Non smokers preferred!
