I realise that it is only a very short stay, and that it is over Christmas but I just thought someone might like a getaway to the tranquility of the country over the crazy holiday period. We are looking for a housesitter who loves pets. We have a spoilt staffy who is very much an inside dog and needs to be around people. He is really easy to look after, only needing to be walked twice daily but other than that he is pretty content to lounge around all day. We have a beautiful new home on a stunning 15 acres just outside the bustling country town of Gympie (about a 5 minute drive). You can see the lights of town from our huge deck. We also have 5 cows but they look after themselves, though they will come up for a bit of molasses and a scratch in the afternoon. And of course we have "the girls"- 6 free ranging chickens who only need to be let out in the morning and locked up at night, and of course you can collect and eat the beautiful eggs. We live in a beautiful part of the world, close to Tin Can Bay and Rainbow Beach. There are lots of things to see and do around town but you may just be content to soak in the gorgeous surrounds of our home. So if you would like a tree change and would be happy to get lots of licks and love from our boy, then this might be for you.
