I am looking for a house/pet sitter from approx 24th November for 8 weeks whilst my family and I go back to the UK for a holiday (start/end date can be flexible as we have not booked our flights yet).
We have a 4 bedroom house with a medium sized garden and pool which are both low maintenance (the pool is solar heated so is lovely and warm !) We have a cleaner who comes in fortnightly whom we will continue to employ whilst we are away (we will be paying her).
We live 20 minutes by car from some wonderful beaches (Terrigal, Avoca, Wamberal) and two Westfield shopping centres. We are situated 5 minutes away (walk) from Narara train station and a corner shop. The supermarket is 5 minutes by car.
We have 2 wonderful pets whom we adore. Izzy a 6 year old Rotti / Shepherd cross (very well behaved) and a new Burmese kitten called Chocolate who is rather cheeky!! As Chocolate is an indoor cat, the windows and doors need to be kept shut at all times (screens will be attached by November and so will be able to be opened). They are very easy to care for and love company, so I am looking for a sitter who works from home or is retired as I don't want them to be in on their own every day. Izzy dog enjoys both short and longer walks. She is getting a bit too old to run !!!

All bills will be covered (gas / electricity / phone line rental / internet / Foxtel). However, excessive use of electricity (leaving the air con on all day or using the tumble drier every day in summer) may cause a significant increase in our usual fortnightly payment. Should this occur the house sitter would be expected to pay the difference. As a family of 4 we try to be energy efficient - we currently pay $110 per fortnight for gas and electricity (combined).
We only use the phone line in order to access the internet. As such all calls would not be included. We suggest purchasing a phone card to make local and national calls.
A laptop will be left at the house with access to a wireless internet connection and a 12 gb download allowance. A printer is available.
Foxtel is included and will be Foxtel HD (basic package). Foxtel is in the lounge and in the master bedroom (Foxtel IQ, but not HD). The lounge sports a 50 " plasma screen TV, with a smaller 26" LCD TV in the master bedroom.
