I need a caretaker for my hobby farm. Seeking enthusiastic, energetic caretaker couple for my small property in the Northern Rivers. Free accommodation and some utilities in return for various tasks in the care of a small herd of goats, a few chooks and pets.
Understanding of Marrama dogs in their care of goats and chooks would be an advantage. My marrama is a young dog 16 months of age and still in training for the care of goats and chooks although she has been bred for this purpose. Early training is vital as when they reach maturity at age 2 years she will need to be able to adequately care for the animals and farm without supervision. She will still however require feeding and care.
Care of the house yard is included. As I will be away teaching during nsw school terms I am looking for a couple to come by 5th July and stay through to 19th September which is the school holidays when I return home.
