Hi,
My fiance and I are getting married next month (out of town). After that we'll immedately be going on our honeymoon. So we'll be gone for just over 6 weeks and don't want to be stressed over our house and 2 dogs!!
We are looking for an older couple/person that will fit well with the neighborhood and loves dogs.
The dogs are by most accounts untrained and young. They know sit/lay down (after a few attempts). And they are big One is a german shepard mix, the other is a malamute/lab mix. But they are very spoiled and haven't been separeted from us for more than 5 days. They are our children and our highest priority.
The house is a 3 bedroom 2 bath, 50's ranch that sits on a acre. We bought it in February, so we're pretty much broke and haven't been able to put much money into it. The yard is in disarray and could definately use some TLC. Attention greenthumbs!!!!
I'm a full-time software developer that works from home, so I have quite a few computers and of course, high speed internet that you can use.
The neighborhood consists of young families (most children are under 12) and retired couples. Everyone is easy-going and friendly. There is a wonderful community feel.
For those unfamiliar with the area, we are in Vancouver, WA and about 15 minutes from downtown Portland, OR.
We would be willing to pay you, if you could work on training our dogs and/or making our yard look pretty!!!
