We are looking for a mature, friendly, fun dog and bird loving housesitter(s) to stay with our "children" while we are away. We have an 8 year-old female golden retriever who is sweet and loving and needs the same in return. The ultimate find for us would be to have someone who falls in love with our girl as much as we love her. We also have to two cockatoos who love to entertain and be entertained and petted. We live in a craftsman bungalow in NE Portland. We live in a great neighborhood that is very close to good shopping, restaurants and art galleries. We are currently renovating the first room of many and will have it finished prior to leaving. To show photos of our home as it is now, will only have people running, but we promise it will be in order prior to our departure! Our home is three bedroom, two bath. There is only one bedroom available for our potential homesitter, so more than a couple is not doable. It is a sunny room in the front of the house on the main level. There is access to the internet through our wireless connection. We have all other amenities of comfortable home life available on the property. We would like to have someone come to stay with us the night prior to our departure so that we can acquaint them with our pets and our home and its inner workings, as well as introduce them to the neighbors. The set begin date is December 11 through January 13. We are looking forward to hearing from you!
