My husband and I spend the winter in Mexico and we are interested in having a house sitter during all or part of the time we are away (late December to mid-April).
Our home was built in 1906 and it is in wonderful shape. It has terrific architectual details included in our living areas: living room, dining room, kitchen, alcove entrance. My husband and I take very good care of our 3 bedroom home. Two bedrooms would be available for use on the second floor with the third locked off for our things. We also have a large front porch and a patio in our back yard (probably not useful during the winter months.
We are located in a desireable section of the city - Park Avenue area (very safe and close to everything).
We do have a wonderful, friendly cat who could remain in the house or, if this is a major problem, our cat could go to our daughter's home.
Our expectations would include: garbage disposal (put out at the curb one day a week) payment of utilities (gas, electric, Time Warner 3 in one which includes cable, telephone, computer)
We are wireless so your computer would work anywhere in the house.
Rochester has lots to offer: wonderful museums, gourmet restaurants, tons of things to do,......
We have terrific neighbors who would be helpful if needed.
