We are hoping to find someone who can house/pet sit for us on occasion for short periods of time, usually 1-3 days or a long weekend, but with immediate interest for the period Aug 4-6 or Aug We live in West Seattle, one block from Lincoln Park and ¼ mile from the Fauntleroy ferry terminal. We have a beautiful 10+ yr old yellow lab (with a little beagle mixed in) named “Wags”. He is very mellow and affectionate, but there is a catch: he has anxiety problems that essentially require him to be with someone all the time. So we are looking for someone who would either be at our house or willing to take him anyplace they go. (He can be left in the car for short periods of time while shopping, although that can’t be done too much during the summer due to constraints of sun and heat.) I take him to my office with me about 3 days/week and on other weekdays leave him at a doggy daycare and if you should sit for us on weekdays, you would have the option of taking him to the daycare. He really is a joy to walk because he draws so much attention from other people who think he is still a puppy. In addition to looking after Wags, we would ask for someone just to water the yard and garden during our stays.
