We are going overseas and require a married couple with some agricultural background (but not essential) to mind the property of 30 acres only 10 minutes from Murwillumbah, but at the end of a bitumen road and very isolated. Neighbours are quite close and can assist with any stock problems. The house has 3 bedrooms,study, lounge/ dining with open fireplace, breakfast room, verandah and a solar heated swimming pool overlooking two large dams.Two cars and a tractor are in different locations but will not require attention.There is one dog (Abbie), a very friendly Border Collie . Stock consists of one Hereford bull (very quiet),and 12 cows.There may be several calves. The cattle will not require much attention, but will need to be watched for any immediate problems or breaks-outs. We have contacts for assistance if needed and the neighbours are a great help. The acreage is 'clean' with stands of pine and natural timbers and apart from the house fence grassed area, will not require maintenance. As there is a quantity of good bric a brac and delicate items in the house, we do not want young children as visitors or house pets.It would be preferable for intending house sitters to pre visit to check out the situation if they can.
